Dexter teen accused in alleged Facebook threat

DEXTER, Mo. (AP) - A Dexter teenager is jailed on charges of making a terrorist threat.

The Dexter Daily Statesman (http://bit.ly/HfZzGw ) reports that 17-year-old Lucas Allen is accused of posting comments on a Facebook page threatening school violence.

Police say the comments suggested the teen was about to "snap," and read, "You people brought it on yourselves."

Authorities say Allen no longer attends Dexter schools, but students told school officials last week about the posting. The school contacted police.

Allen does not have a listed attorney. Police say he told them he didn't mean for the posting to be alarming, though authorities say they found a loaded shotgun at his home.
