The spirit of Monday’s “Show me Your Glory Lord” kickoff was summed up in musical lyrics.

“God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her ...” brought more than 100 believers to their feet in the Capitol Rotunda as Sonja Butler from Latter House Kingdom Ministries in Columbia sang.

And the voices of students from Trinity Lutheran Church opened the 40 Days of Prayer commitment event with the “Star-Spangled Banner” followed by “Beautiful Savior.”
