Jays, Lady Jays win

The Jefferson City girls and boys track teams both won triangular meets with Hannibal and Waynesville on Tuesday.

In the girls meet, the Lady Jays racked up 112 points to beat Hannibal (49) and Waynesville (28).

Jefferson City had three double-winners in the event, as Erica Hogue won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, Shelby Mustain won the discus and shot put, and Kezia Martin won the triple jump and long jump.

In the boys meet, Jefferson City scored 78 points to edge Hannibal (58) and Waynesville (54).
