Helias blanks Mexico

It’s been the start to the season the Helias Lady Crusaders wanted.

Now it’s time to see if they can maintain that momentum as the schedule gets a little tougher.

Seven Lady Crusaders scored Monday afternoon as Helias blanked the Mexico Lady Bulldogs 8-0 at the 179 Soccer Park.

“We’ve got a couple of good wins, but now comes the hard part,” Register said.

Helias, which has outscored its opposition 11-0 in two games, will play today at Quincy (Ill.) Notre Dame and Saturday in St. Louis against Trinity Catholic and Visitation Academy.
