3 injured in Jefferson City crash

Three people were hurt in a traffic accident at the intersection of East Ashley and Monroe streets at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday.

Jefferson City police report a Ford minivan traveling southbound on Monroe had the right of way at the intersection when a westbound Chevrolet Monte Carlo ignored a stop sign and collided with the van. The vehicle then continued westbound and struck the side of an unoccupied pickup truck parked in front of 218 East Ashley St.
