Westminster College's Tony Stephenson went 5-1 in recent action, helping the Blue Jays post 8-1 wins over Central College and Buena Vista University on Saturday in Pella, Iowa, and a 9-0 victory over Greenville College on Monday in Columbia.
Against Central, Stephenson (Helias High School) won his No. 1 singles match 6-2, 6-1. He then teamed with Steven Yob in an 8-2 loss at No. 1 doubles.
Stephenson notched a 6-4, 6-3 victory in singles against Buena Vista. Stephenson and Yob then recorded an 8-5 win in doubles.
Against Greenville, Stephenson carved out a 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 singles victory and an 8-6 doubles win with Yob.
