CALIFORNIA — The Russellville Indians opened the season in style Monday, pounding out a 14-0 win over the California Pintos.

Chandler Wolf twirled a one-hitter to get the win, striking out 14 in his seven innings of work.

Luke Thompson racked up three hits for the winners, including a grand slam home run, and ended up with five RBI. Wolf added a grand slam of his own and also added a single.
