Owls earn split

FULTON — The William Woods Owls used the pitching and hitting of Kelsey Schulte to earn a split in a doubleheader with Baker University on Sunday.

In the second game of a home twinbill, Schulte (Eugene High School) pitched all 10 innings in the Owls’ 2-1 victory. She scattered six hits while giving up an unearned run and struck out four while walking five.

Schulte ended up with two hits and one RBI in the contest.
