3 JC students caught with synthetic pot

Three Jefferson City Public School District students were found to be in possession of synthetic marijuana Wednesday morning.
According to school district reports, two female students from the Simonsen Ninth Grade Center and a 17-year-old sophomore male from the high school were involved.
The two Simonsen students were taken to Prenger Family Attention Center and the male high school student was taken to the Cole County Jail.
The students are facing up 10 days of suspension and could be recommended for further discipline.
