Helias defeats Fatima 10-1 in first game

WESTPHALIA, Mo. — It was a blueprint for success.

Solid pitching, good defense and timely hitting will be the keys this season for the Helias Crusaders. They were Thursday as Helias opened its season with a 10-1 win over the Fatima Comets at Lions Field.

“If we can do that, we’re going to be in every game we play,” Helias coach Chris Wyrick said. “I’m thrilled to death with this game.
