Man charged in thefts at JC stereo shops

A California man has been charged in connection with burglaries at stereo businesses throughout Jefferson City.

Gemini Heisserer, 19, is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of stealing and one count of possession of burglar's tools.

A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement shows Heisserer used a hammer to break the glass in the front door of Car Fonics, 817 Jefferson St., just after midnight Tuesday morning.

He entered the business and stole three car stereo head units, valued at $885.

Charges against others involved in this case are pending.
