Local hoteliers fielding SEC inquiries about Mizzou football weekends

Traveling sports fans might bring extra tourism dollars to Jefferson City this fall.

A larger and more devoted fan base is expected to follow their favorite Southeastern Conference (SEC) football teams to the University of Missouri’s Faurot Field in Columbia to play the league’s new addition, the Missouri Tigers.

Jefferson City hotels and motels already have received a few inquiries.
