Jays, Lady Jays down Helias at dual

The Jefferson City Jays and Lady Jays swept Tuesday’s annual season-opening dual with the Helias Crusaders and Lady Crusaders at Adkins Stadium.

The Jays won 16 of the 18 events to total 117 points. Helias captured two events and finished with 29.

On the girls side, the Lady Jays were 111-35 winners over the Lady Crusaders. Jefferson City won 15 of the 18 events.
