Three arrested in attempted burglary in JC

Monday morning, Jefferson City police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Olive Street for a burglary in progress call.
According to the caller, two suspects entered a vacant home in the 200 block of Olive Street through a window.
Officers arrived on scene and the suspects fled the residence, with officers in foot pursuit.
After a brief chase, officers were able to take both suspects into custody, along with a third suspect, who attempted to hide one of the suspects from pursuing officers.
The following arrests were made:
Suspect 1 - Jefferson City male - 20 year old - arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary and Felony Resisting Arrest
Suspect 2 - Jefferson City male - 18 year old - arrested for 2nd Degree Burglary and Felony Resisting Arrest
Suspect 3 - Jefferson City female - 17 year old - arrested for Felony Hindering Prosecution for hiding one of the suspects
No one was hurt during the pursuit.
The investigation revealed the suspects entered the home to steal copper wire, but were unable to do so prior to fleeing.
