Four freshmen set to start for Lady Jays

A big injection of new blood has infused a big dose of enthusiasm into the Jefferson City Lady Jays.

The Lady Jays, who open the soccer season tonight at Camdenton, have six freshmen who are expected to contribute on the varsity this season.

“It’s a young team, but in terms of attitude and work ethic, it’s a great group because they have been bringing it each day,” Lady Jays coach Matt Stacey said. “Good things can come from hard work.”
