Brian Bray: ‘DVD Whisperer’ for MRRL

Brian Bray is the man to thank for the 14,000-plus DVD collection at Missouri River Regional Library.

Bray, a librarian’s assistant, has worked at the library for 11 years, and part of his role for the past seven has been ordering DVDs as well as science fiction and computer books.

“We do have a collection development employee, but we thought it would be easier to have people work in their area of interest or expertise,” he said. “It would give one person less to try and cover and allow us to have eyes on all areas.”
