Technology classes give middle schoolers hands-on instruction

Three-dimensional room designs, robots and mechanical devices are just the beginning of the Gateway to Technology projects Jefferson City public middle school students will build themselves.

The eighth-graders are using professional-quality computer programs to complete their design and modeling project.

Before the oldest students get their hands on the AutoDesk Pro Version Computer-Aided Drafting program, they build a shoebox project by hand.
