When the crowd is cheering, that receptive energy feeds the 20 couples dancing and singing for J-City Riot.
The Jefferson City High School show choir also has depended on each other, the directors, the accompaniment musicians, traveling parents and the backstage crew to put on a “Welcome to the Jungle” performance.
Perhaps the live energy is what has ultimately won the group the “People’s Choice” Award at each of its competitions this season.
