Chamois, St. Elizabeth play tonight in Sedalia

The Chamois Lady Pirates and the St. Elizabeth Hornets will look to advance in the Class 1 basketball playoffs tonight.

Chamois and St. Elizabeth, fresh off District 9 Tournament victories last week, will face the Glasgow girls and boys squads at Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School.

Chamois (22-4) will face Glasgow (23-4) at 6 p.m. to open the action in a battle of state-ranked teams.

The Lady Pirates, No. 7 in the final regular season poll, captured their first district basketball title last Friday in a 53-35 win over St. Elizabeth. Miranda Brandt finished with 24 points in the victory, while Allyson Mehmert added 13.
