Lincoln loses at MIAA Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Despite a valiant effort, the Lincoln women’s basketball season came to a close Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Tigers hung with No. 24 Emporia State for most of the game, but couldn’t pull ahead in a 68-60 loss in the semifinals of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Tournament at Municipal Auditorium.

Lincoln trailed by as many as six points in the first half, but bounced back to tie the score at 29 at halftime.
