GREENCASTLE, Ind. — Playing in the team’s first-ever NCAA Division III tournament game, the Westminster Blue Jays were eliminated with a 66-46 loss to DePauw on Friday.
Starting and playing in her school-record 101st game, senior Rachel Backes (Tipton High School) led Westminster with 13 points. Leigh Ann Lutz (California High School), a sophomore for the Blue Jays, chipped in with 12 points.
Westminster ends the season with a record of 22-5.
