Area church members get lesson in emergency response

The Cole County Faith-based Organization Disaster Initiative Workshop on Thursday, hosted by several local and state emergency response agencies, provided attendees with resources and a list of priorities.

As members of the Hospitality Committee from Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church, Melonie Robinson and Leslie Galbreath greet members as they arrive for services. They also feel responsible for the 50-plus members' comfort, health awareness and safety.
