19-year-old Sikeston man dies following shooting

SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) — A 19-year-old Sikeston man has died in a shooting.

The Southeast Missourian (http://bit.ly/QJbyCe) reported that the man was struck several times early Saturday. Police said he was flown to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Police didn't release the man's name and no suspects were immediately identified. Police are asking for the public's help.
