Freeburg club cancels fireworks show

The Freeburg Lions Club’s 15th annual fireworks show, scheduled for Tuesday, has been canceled.
According to Jimmy Massen, secretary of the Lions Club, hot and dry weather conditions and the heightened possibilities for fires forced the club to cancel.
No makeup date has been scheduled at this time.
