A few years ago, Elizabeth Case was learning Bible verses, making crafts, singing songs and looking up to the youth volunteers at St. Joseph Cathedral Vacation Bible School.

Now, she's the older volunteer.

"I thought it would be fun to help out," said Case, 12. "It's a lot of work, but it's really fun."

About 90 children, ages 4 through fifth grade, enjoyed a week of "Sonrise National Park" at St. Joseph Cathedral this week.
