Seven Helias girls named All-State in soccer

A historic soccer season for the Helias Lady Crusaders was rewarded with seven players earning Class 2 All-State honors from the Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association.

Senior defender Madi Nichols, junior midfielder Taylor Hagenhoff and junior goalkeeper Liz Czarnecki earned first-team honors. Senior forwards Courtney Lock and Lexi Melcher, senior midfielder Kaitlin Brauner and sophomore midfielder Becky Roberts made the second team.
