Giebler vs. Fair at Missouri Amateur

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Stroke play champion Brevin Giebler moved on to the quarterfinals at the Missouri Amateur Championship at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Giebler, of Cape Girardeau, defeated Eric Ecker of Springfield in the round of 32 before beating Missouri golfer Wilson Sunvold in the round of 16 on Friday.

Giebler will take on Jacob Fair of Monett in today’s quarterfinal.

Other quarterfinal matchups today include Jace Long (Dixon) vs. Nick Wilson (Columbia), Zach Ryan (Kearney) vs. Kris Casburn (Blue Springs) and Skip Berkmeyer (Wildwood) vs. Joseph Atkisson (Springfield).

The semifinals are also today with the championship set for Sunday.
