INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Briann January scored 20 points and Katie Douglas added 17 to help the Indiana Fever cruise to a 95-61 victory over the Connecticut Sun on Thursday night.

Tamika Catchings had 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for the Fever (6-4), who set a franchise record with 15 3-pointers. The Fever had lost four of five, including an 88-85 defeat at Connecticut on Tuesday.

Mistie Mims scored 11 points and Kara Lawson and Ashja Jones added 10 for the Sun (9-3). Tina Charles, the league's No. 3 scorer, was held to six points on 3-for-11 shooting.

It was a chippy game that featured five technical fouls, including four against the Sun. Connecticut coach Mike Thibault was ejected in the third quarter for arguing with officials.

LYNX 102, LIBERTY 70

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Seimone Augustus scored a season-high 26 points, rookie Devereaux Peters added a career-best 18, and Minnesota bounced back from its first loss with a big win against New York.

Taj McWilliams-Franklin added 15 points for Minnesota (11-1), which started the season a WNBA-best 10-0 before losing to Seattle on Sunday.

Cappie Pondexter scored a season-high 30 points to lead the Liberty (4-8). Nicole Powell scored 16 and made all four 3-point attempts as New York lost for the third time in four games.

Six of the Liberty's losses this season have been by at least 15 points - four by at least 23, including a franchise-worst 97-55 defeat at Connecticut last Friday.

The Lynx have won 12 straight at home since a loss to New York on Sept. 2 last season.
