South boys win all-star soccer game

ASHLAND, Mo. — All-Star games are often a mixed bag, with the players needing a half or more to get used to each other. And then some times, things just click.

It was a case of the latter Thursday night, as the South squad in the Fifth Annual Central Missouri All-Star Game clicked from the start and cruised to a 5-1 victory at Southern Boone High School.

The group meshed so well it didn’t want this to become a one-time thing.
