Post 5 earns pair of wins

OMAHA, Neb. — The Jefferson City American Legion Post 5 Seniors ran their record to 14-2 with a pair of baseball wins in the Battle of Omaha Tournament on Thursday.

Post 5 won the first game 9-8 against T. Hurt Construction from Nebraska.

Post 5 defeated Belleville East-Tom Henson Construction 9-3 in the second game.
