Redeem Project marks second year in right direction

Relationship-building has been a cornerstone of the Redeem Project’s efforts in its first two years.
In addition to the attention executive director Vicki Bullock gives to individual’s needs, clients serve each other.
The anger management and parenting classes become a support network, where trust and confidence is built. And often clients return to volunteer.
Proof of that was at Christmas 2011, when families who were blessed with gifts in 2010 all returned with a gift for the next year’s families, Bullock said.
“That was gratifying; they got it,” Bullock said. “They understood they had been helped and they wanted to help someone else.”
