Musical shows it’s good to be ‘Blonde’

The next performance by the Capital City Players is the musical version of one of the more popular movies in recent years, “Legally Blonde The Musical.”

The story follows Elle Woods, a blonde sorority girl trying to win back the affection of her Harvard-bound boyfriend. She eventually proves that the blonde stereotypes don’t always apply, and that being dumped might have been the best thing that happened to her.

Once again the shows here overlap with the one at TLT, limiting who can go to which one (performers would like to attend but rehearsal schedules don't always allow). With 4 live theater venues in Jefferson City, I realize there can be overlap, but it seems like there could be a little more cooperation in scheduling to avoid that.
