Donations provide ultrasound technology for Pregnancy Help Center
Thursday, June 14, 2012
An ultrasound machine sits ready to be unwrapped at staff training next month at the Pregnancy Help Center of Central Missouri.
The gift came from three area Knights of Columbus districts with 13 councils contributing $1,000 each to draw the Supreme Council’s matching funds to purchase the ultrasound machine.
Collections will become a twice-a-year effort by the Westphalia council, said Dale Logan, chairman of the Baby Bottle Campaign. “We wanted to bring awareness for the center, and we have a staunch belief in pro-life.”
