Local man headed to prison after drug plea

A Jefferson City was sentenced to seven years in prison in connection with charges filed after a narcotics search warrant was served at his residence last December.
According to court records, Benjamin Nilges, 30, pled guilty to charges of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of the controlled substances Suboxone and Kolonopin, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
