Two arrested in Sunday shots fired call at JC housing authority property

At 6:59 am Sunday morning, Jefferson City police responded to a shots fired call in the 1000 block of Elizabeth St.

Upon arrival officers saw a man sitting in a vehicle and another man walking up to the vehicle.

Both men were contacted and searched.

A handgun and methamphetamine was found hidden in the pants of one suspect, Paulo Cunningham, a 20 year old Jefferson City resident and a convicted felon.

The second subject, Sandalio Ingram, a 29 Jefferson City resident, was arrested for trespassing on housing authority property.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle a loaded shotgun with a spent shell in the chamber was recovered.

Charges of possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm are being sought on Paulo Cunningham.

Charges of 2nd degree trespassing are being sought on Sandalio Ingram.
