The "spotlight game" wasn't much to look at, but the event sure was.

The inaugural Capital City Summer Hoops Classic, a heaping serving of high-school boys basketball games, wrapped up Saturday after a three-day run. In perhaps the most anticipated game of the event, Saturday morning's matchup between the Helias and Jefferson City varsity teams, the Crusaders cruised to a 47-25 victory.

The unexpectedly lopsided finish had a lot to do with Helias having its full contingent of players while the Jays were missing some important players due to various commitments that included taking the ACT exam.
