Maries County traffic stop yields drug arrest

Maries County deputies arrested a Chamois woman Saturday on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs and related paraphernalia.

The sheriff's department reports its deputies took Alicia S. Lee, 41, into custody after they pulled over a vehicle in a traffic stop along Highway 28.

A local judge issued a warrant for Lee accusing her of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being held in the Maries County Jail, with bond set at $25,000.
