This is very exciting. I'm really looking forward to seeing the program. I did not realize they were focusing on civic leaders. I thought the focus would be on our history and heritage. I hope they will be sure to interview the local historians who have published books about our history and heritage: Dr. Gary Kramer, Mark Schreiber, Boby Priddy, Dr. Walter Schroeder and others. They may also want to go to the State Archives, in the reference room of that building there is a wall of book shelves with "local history" published about everywhere in the state. Go to the Cole County section and see what has been written about Jefferson City. Be sure they visit with Steve Veile, President of Historic City of Jefferson. His office in located in a local Landmark and he can share a lot about Jefferson City's history.

Oh, CPAN, welcome to Jefferson City!
