Campers compete in an afternoon game of soccer while participating in the first week of Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Youth Sports Day Camp program at Riverside Park.
They got to break boards.
Visiting a martial arts gym was the fun field trip Thursday for the first week of Youth Sports Camp, offered by the Jefferson City Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
Each week, a field trip will coincide with the camp’s theme.
Volleyball will be part of the week on Brazil, as will soccer for England, golf for Scotland and hockey for Canada.
