Missouri ready for NCAA Tournament

The Missouri Tigers feel well prepared for the NCAA Tournament.

The Tigers, who open play at 10 p.m. today (ESPNU-TV) against host Arizona in the Tucson Regional, believe their run to the Big 12 Tournament title has them more than ready for what's to come.

"This year it really feels like our conference tournament was a part of the NCAA Tournament," Missouri coach Tim Jamieson said Thursday. "We're excited that we still get to keep playing. Of course we want to win, but we're happy that our season is still going."

The Tigers (32-26) are the fourth seed in the region, which also features New Mexico State (35-22) and Louisville (39-20).
