Friday, July 27, 2012
Dawnel Davidson has filed as the Republican Party’s candidate for Cole County circuit clerk, after being chosen last week by the county’s Republican committee.
She will face interim Clerk Marilue Hemmel in the Nov. 6 general election.
Davidson worked for the circuit clerk’s office for 11 years, then spent the last seven years with the Office of State Courts Administrator until resigning that job last week.
