Post 5 Seniors fall 1-0

WASHINGTON, MO. — The Jefferson City American Legion Post 5 Seniors offense managed just two hits and couldn’t scratch out a run as Post 5 fell 1-0 to Washington Post 218 on Thursday night in the opening round of the five-team, double-elimination tournament.

Post 5 (26-8) now faces elimination when it plays at 8 p.m. today against the West Jaguars. St. Charles Post 312 beat the Jaguars 4-3 earlier Thursday.
