Mo. homeless man says he was set on fire

ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are investigating but don't yet have any suspects after a homeless man claimed that he was set on fire.

Authorities say 40-year-old Louis Broadway said he was sleeping in an alley when he was attacked about 2 a.m. Friday. He says a man poured gasoline on him, then set him on fire.

Broadway was taken to a hospital where he is in critical but stable condition with extensive burns. The garage near where Broadway was sleeping also caught fire.

Police have no motive in the attack.
