The Jefferson City American Legion Post 5 Seniors will begin the next step in the postseason tonight in the Zone 1 Tournament.
Post 5 (26-7), which swept Fulton last week to win the district tournament title, will square off against Washington Post 218 at 8 p.m. in Washington. This is the second straight season the Post 5 Seniors have advanced to the zone tournament.
Action in the five-team, double-elimination tournament is scheduled to continue through Sunday.
Other teams in the tournament are the West Jaguars, St. Charles Post 312 and Moberly Post 6.
