LU creates "boutique-style' conference center

When Tamara Hellmann sets up a meeting for a Mid-America Wireless group, she normally has to coordinate equipment for the presenter, as well as the conference room.

But the executive administrative assistant has been pleased with the South Campus Conference Center at Lincoln University, where a projector, video screen, flip chart and easel, extension cords and more already are on site.

The new conference center opened its 5,000 square feet to community and statewide meetings in January.
