Jefferson City officials go paperless
Council, directors to receive iPads
Sunday, July 22, 2012
Jefferson City officials are stepping into the electronic age, ditching the paper packets for a digital version.
Bill Betts, director of Information Technologies, said each City Council member should be equipped with an Apple iPad 2 by the Aug. 20 council meeting. Department directors, the mayor, the city administrator and the city clerk also will receive an iPad 2.
