A Dixon man was killed late Friday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident on Route C, a half-mile west of Dixon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported Michael A. Szulkowski, 52, died after losing control of his eastbound 1995 Mercury Cougar.
The car first ran off the left side of the road, then off the right side after Szulkowski overcorrected. The car hit a telephone pedestal and overturned several times.
Szulkowski, who wasn't using a seat belt, was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene by Pulaski County Coroner Mikel Hartness. The accident happened at 5:45 p.m. Friday.
