The decline of native plants and animals can be reversed.
Doug Tallamy, professor of entomology and wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware and author of “Bringing Nature Home,” will share how to sustain wildlife and native plants in one’s backyard beginning at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 30 in Jefferson City at Scruggs University Center, 819 Chestnut St., on the Lincoln University campus.
The presentation will be followed by the Missouri Prairie Foundation/Grow Native! ceremony.
