Meadows by the Club resident, former mayor endorse annexation proposal
Tuesday, July 17, 2012
A former Jefferson City mayor and a resident of a proposed annexation area spoke in favor of city efforts Monday night.
Former Mayor Duane Schreimann and Meadows by the Club resident Kathi Harness spoke to the City Council to encourage residents to vote yes on the proposal on the Aug. 7 ballot.
Schreimann said there are many positives to living within city limits, such as professional police and fire departments, plus zoning regulations.
“Controlled growth, regulated growth is so important,” Schreimann said. “We encourage everyone to vote yes.”

Professional police,” then what is the Cole County Sheriff’s Department? Except for distance/time to respond, I’d take the Cole County’s Sheriff’s Department over the Jefferson City Police Department any day.

Run Mr Schreimann off the school board. Totally unprofessional comment about law enforcement. Vote against thie money grab.

Ain't seen the Cole Co. jailroom procedures and housing stuff yet, eh? Me either.
Last I checked, I was directed to confer with inmates rather than CoCo staff or officers. Seems the inmates knew more about things than did the folks running the joint. When I went to pad my brother's account, supposedly set-up automatically, it wasn't, and I wandered through the facility at my leisure, even accessed CoCoSD computers before someone sent a detective down. If I'd had my thumb drive with me, I'd be talking with WikiLeaks. Just for the helluvit because it was a total joke.

Okay, even if nobody else does, I will call BS on this. They could arrest you for accessing that. Also, I happen to know that you need several passwords to use their computers plus you need access to MULES and you need to know what scripted words to access individuallized directories.
