Entrepreneurs birth business incubator

Professionals amassing resources for start-up ventures

In the same second-story space where now-established entrepreneurial ventures first started, Start Up Jefferson City has a location.

Once renovated, the office area above Modern Litho-Print Co. will not only serve as a resource to those considering their own business venture, it also will offer a space to start-up businesses. "It's Jefferson City's first business incubator," said organizer Michael Honeywell. Learfield Communications and Communiqué both started at 411 Madison St., Suite 200.

Start Up Jefferson City will host an open house in early August. Also next month, the support network will hold a Pitch-A-Palooza.
